Photo Gallery! 69th Annual Grand National Roadster Show

The 69th annual Grand National Roadster Show has officially taken over Fairplex in Pomona. Cars and hot rodders are everywhere basking in the warm Southern California sun. The event is buzzing like never before.

There are numerous events within the event taking place. The splendor of the America’s Most Beautiful Roadster Competition is featured inside the giant Building 4. Another building has over 100 pristine Muscle Cars. There is a BMW Isetta display.

The “Suede Palace hosts traditonal rod & customs while DJ Axle belts out rockabilly from his insane record collection. One of our favorite exhibits is the Rolling Bones display. The New York based traditional hot rod factory has at least 20 of their prior builds displayed together around hay bales and other nostalgic trinkets. Their customers brought their hot rods from all across America. Posted up with them in Mike Nicholas and his Hot Rod Hillclimb revelry. It’s way cool.

Of course the new custom cars are displayed as well as custom choppers and more vendors than you can count. Lowriders too!

It all makes for a spectacular event. Have a look around!

The ruse worked and he began covering auto races as far back as 1986 in Northern California, eventually getting his stories published worldwide. He has owned and driven everything from a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere to a ridiculously modded Subaru WRX as well as a string of Mercedes AMG’s, most of which had the warranties voided the day after leaving the dealership.
