JEGS Floatless Fuel Sending Unit

JEGS Tube-style fuel sending units are ideal for applications where conventional float arm type units will not fit due to clearance issues. A floatless fuel sending unit is less susceptible to erratic fuel level readings that are due to slosh in a tank where baffles are not present. Each device requires no setup or calibration and has a standard aftermarket five-hole pattern (2 1/8 in.) mounting bracket that must be mounted perpendicular to the tank (vertically), with the ground at the top of the tank. We have 12 variations available; they come in different lengths as well as Ohms readings.

This cutaway image shows an installed JEGS floatless fuel sending unit used in a fuel cell with foam. This is the only way to get an accurate fuel level reading in a fuel cell with foam; with a 1/2 inch gap between the lower end of the unit and the bottom of the fuel cell.
