Goodguys 2019 Builders Choice Award Selectors Announced!
For the past several decades, the Goodguys Builders Choice awards have been a coveted and prestigious award at many of the Goodguys events. Those who are familiar with the awards program know that the coveted Goodguys red dot on a headlight signifies that you received a Builders Choice award at any given event.
It’s even more special when the award is hand-picked by one of the top tier builders in our industry. Over the years, the Builders Choice awards program has expanded so that now participants at all National events have the chance to compete for these awards.
These visionary builders turn out car after car that are amazing creations and a symbol of the best of our industry. Bringing these builders into the fold of the Goodguys events has continued to bring out the best cars and trucks in the country.
Performance, style and innovation are key in the selection process of these awards. The Goodguys Builders Choice awards program is proof of that!
The Builders Choice awards are selected on Saturday at all National events from the Builders Choice specialty parking area. Once you are registered at the event, you can compete – it’s as simple as that.
At each of the 2019 National events, a special Builders Choice parking area will be staged on Saturday from 7am to 12pm and the builders who are selecting will be onsite going through the vehicles one by one selecting their Top 10. To be eligible for a Builders Choice Award you must park in the Builders Choice area – indoor show cars are also eligible at events where there is an indoor show.
In 2019, fifteen of the Nation’s Top Hot Rod and Custom car builders will select Goodguys Builders Choice awards. These elite builders will create hand crafted, one off award to be presented to the Top 10 hot rods, customs, street machines and trucks of the event during Sunday’s awards ceremony.
