Goodguys 28th Autumn Get-Together Revs Up in Pleasanton!

The stage is set for the Goodguys 28th Autumn Get-Together (click here for full event information) this weekend at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds and we are proud presenting sponsors! In addition to over 2,500 show cars on display, the event celebrates military members past and present on Veteran’s Day Weekend. The Autumn-Get-Together officially ends the Goodguys car show season for hot rodders all over California and has become one of the “must attend” events on the Goodguys schedule.

Saturday, November 11 is Veteran’s Day and the event will celebrate our nation’s military and all that they do for us. All military, active and retired will get free general admission to the event all weekend. There will be several Veteran’s day activities during the event, including the Vettes for Vets– a special parking area and parade each day honoring our Veterans, the Young American Patriots performing during the event, presentation of the color guard, and more.

In addition, The Pleasanton Military Families will hold a donation drive for their Pack Out program. They will be onsite both days at the Yellow Gate. Through this program care packages are shipped to military troops overseas. To donate or get more info, visit www.pleasantonmilitaryfamilies.org

Other event highlights include an indoor display of trucks, a Lowrider display, Cruiser-Rama bicycle show as well as the Vintage Camper display provided by the Tow Girlz/Tow Boyz Vintage Camper Trailer Club! A step back in time for sure!

Furthermore, the “Smash for Cash” demolition derby will benefit the Hayward Fire Charity Fund. Round one begins at 11 am; round two at 1 pm and round three at 3 pm. New to the mix for 2017 is the Burnout Contest. On Saturday at 1:30 and Sunday at 12:30 participants will compete to see who the burnout champion is!! Tech will open for the burnout contest one hour prior to the start.

If all that’s not enough, Goodguys AutoCross will pound the ground throughout the weekend while the car show, vendor exhibits, swap meet, cars 4 sale corral and more round out a jam-packed weekend.

The Goodguys 28th FuelCurve.com Autumn Get-Together gates are open Saturday from 8am to 4pm and Sunday 8am to 4pm. General admission is $20, kids 7-12 $6. Alameda County Fairgrounds parking is $10.
