Goodguys Hot Rod Week Kicks off on Monday
Let’s get ready to cruise! Gary Meadors Memorial Hot Rod Week, a longstanding tradition leading up to the Goodguys West Coast Nationals presented by BASF, kicks off next Monday, August 19, in Pleasanton, California!
Hot Rod Week consists of four laid-back daily driving tours that visit cool shops and fun collections, giving rodders a chance to hit the road and enjoy some seat time in their cars while cruising along with fellow enthusiasts. It’s so cool to see these caravans of vintage machines taking over the roads! This year’s Hot Rod Week is all the more special, as it kicks off one day after what would have been the 80th birthday of Goodguys founder Gary Meadors.
There’s no registration required to participate in Hot Rod Week. Just show up at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Pleasanton by 8am on any of the days, get in line, get driving directions, and hit the road with the pack! Tours leave at 8:30am each day.
Here’s a quick look of what direction Hot Rod Week 2019 will be heading each day:
Monday – Central Valley & Sacramento
Tuesday – San Francisco Peninsula
Wednesday – North Bay
Thursday – East Bay Poker Run
Daily tour stops, route maps, driving instructions, and other details will be distributed each morning at the Hilton. Come on out, join in the fun, and cruise with us!
