Goodguys 11th FiTech Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, AZ moved to April 16-18, 2021

Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, in conjunction with Barrett-Jackson and the city of Scottsdale, will bring two successful classic automotive events to Arizona this spring with a revised schedule from previous years. The two powerhouse event promoters joined forces for the good of the local car community so that both events can continue safely and with as little interruption as possible. Locals can now look forward to two of the region’s biggest events returning in 2021, a year with plenty of questions still up in the air.

When Barrett-Jackson announced its decision to postpone the January 2021 auction to the week of March 22, 2021, the Goodguys and Barrett-Jackson calendars aligned. While the dates were possible, set-up and tear down would leave a very tight schedule for both events and their guests. Goodguys COO Andrew Ebel and VP of Event Operations Harry Daviess, worked closely with WestWorld of Scottsdale management, the City of Scottsdale and the Barrett-Jackson team to reach a mutually beneficial agreement for everyone involved.



Goodguys Rod & Custom Association decided to move the Goodguys 11th FiTech Spring Nationals to the weekend of April 16-18, which allowed Barrett-Jackson to have the March 20-27 week for its Scottsdale event.

“The City of Scottsdale, Barrett-Jackson, and local automotive enthusiasts all win with this new schedule. We look forward to putting on a fun and safe event over the new dates in April,” said Goodguys COO Andrew Ebel.

“We sincerely appreciate the efforts made by the City of Scottsdale to help us return to an auction that will look and feel much like our annual January event,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “We’re also grateful to Goodguys for their flexibility in moving their March Spring Nationals at WestWorld of Scottsdale to April. Working together, we found a solution that works for everyone.”
