Goolsby YoungGuys Winner Headed to Vegas!
Justin Zimmerman and his silver ’59 Impala are headed to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas after Justin became the Grand Prize Winner of the 2019 Goodguys Goolsby Customs YoungGuys program!
The win earned 23-year-old Justin and his platinum Impala a display spot in the Goodguys booth at SEMA. Justin started building the Impala when he was 14 and did the paint and bodywork himself. The bat-wing beauty features Forgeline wheels, a RideTech suspension, a well-detailed small block V8 and custom Ciadella upholstery.
The Goolsby Customs YoungGuys program recognizes enthusiasts 25 and younger and showcases their talents. At each Goodguys event this year, two finalists were selected to be considered for the award. A combination of social media voting as well as votes from Goodguys and Goolsby Customs determined each event award winner. In total 18 young guys and gals were selected (shown below) before awarding the Grand Prize trip to join us at SEMA!
Justin won the YoungGuys Award at the Grundy Insurance Great American Nationals in York, Pennsylvania. Following that event, all YoungGuys winners from the year (going back to the 2018 Colorado Nationals) were evaluated and Justin’s cool Chevy was selected as the Grand Prize Winner! Congratulations, Justin – we’ll see you in Vegas!
