Prestone Grabs Starring Role in “Logan Lucky”

Prestone® Products Corporation, the leader in underhood chemicals and the preferred coolant of Goodguys Rod & Custom Association , makes its 2017 debut in the summer movie, Logan Lucky directed by Steven Soderbergh. The crime comedy includes an epic crash scene that sends Prestone yellow jugs flying from a display shelf in a gas station.

The film features Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and Riley Keough as siblings who attempt a heist during the Coca-Cola 600  in North Carolina. The film also stars Seth MacFarlane, Katie Holmes, Katherine Waterston, Sebastian Stan, Hilary Swank, and Daniel Craig. Prestone joins the cast in a pivotal, stunt-driven scene and is featured on race suits and race vehicles throughout the movie.

Prestone also sponsored Jimmy Logan’s Run, the film’s grassroots promotional tour that took Channing Tatum on an epic road trip from Lexington, Kentucky to Knoxville, Tennessee via Greensboro, North Carolina.

The film hit movie theaters last week and has garnered a 7.5 out of 10 score from IMDB and a lofty 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s rare to find auto racing movies that do well but in the case of Ron Howard’s 2013 Grand Prix film Rush and now Logan Lucky, that might be changing. It’s also refreshing to see the legendary performance brand Prestone getting time on the silver screen!
