Thermo-Tec Rogue Series – Keeping hot parts stylishly cool

The new Thermo-Tec Rogue Series combines both form and function with their new line-up of basalt heat insulation products. These products are made right here on American soil. For three decades, Thermo-Tec has been the hot rodder’s go-to source for heat and sound issue solutions on the street as well as the racetrack.

The new Rogue Series includes T3 and T4 turbocharger covers and kits, both 6” and 12” pipe shields, and 1” and 2” x 50-foot exhaust wraps in both Carbon Fiber and Ricochet Black color schemes blending nicely with today’s muted engine bay colors.Thermo-Tec Rogue Series, Fuel Curve

Basalt products have been featured in Thermo-Tec’s product catalog for more than three years. The new Rogue Series consolidates them into a single line highlighting a proven performer that keeps heat where it needs to be and looks good while doing it.Thermo-Tec Rogue Series, Fuel Curve

“The new Rogue Series is a great example of appearance meeting performance,” said Nick Helms of Thermo-Tec. “These products can be placed on automobiles, ATV’s, motorcycles, and more plus they provide the dependability you need, with the clean, updated look customers have been asking for.”

Basalt is a continuous filament made from volcanic rock, Helms explains. And while its protection properties are similar to those of the fiberglass wrap, the basalt weave holds its appearance over time, resulting in a much nicer overall look for much longer.

“We have been involved in many projects with our new Rogue line,” Helms said. “The products are performing extremely well, and everyone is very happy with their results. We are excited to hear more feedback from customers as the Rogue Series hits the market.”

In addition to its new Rogue Series, Thermo-Tec also markets several other heat barrier products, including exhaust wraps/insulation, coatings and adhesives, sound and heat barriers, as well as heat shields and sleeving.Thermo-Tec Rogue Series, Fuel Curve

Not only are Thermo Tec’s products made in America, the Ohio based company proudly supports the Wounded Warrior Project with the new line. To learn more, go to www.rogueseries.com

Drummond got his start in motorsports reporting by making a fake press pass to gain starting line access. The ruse worked and he began covering auto races as far back as 1986 in Northern California, eventually getting his stories published worldwide. He has owned and driven everything from a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere to a ridiculously modded Subaru WRX as well as a string of Mercedes AMG’s, most of which had the warranties voided the day after leaving the dealership.
